My Skincare Routine

I've always been concerned with keeping my skin clear and not aging badly, perhaps overly so.
I'm also a self proclaimed product junkie.
So what does this Avon Lady use? A lot!

There are four steps to a skin care routine.

1) Cleansing

I vary my cleansers/and or use two.  Sure, it may be overboard, but it works for me.  I think the most important aspect of any skin care routine is what works for YOU.

When I want to just cleanse, I use Avon Elements Moisturizing Cream Cleanser.  It removes the majority of my eye makeup and leaves my skin feeling soft.  I just can't be bothered to use an eye make up remover, so I NEED my cleanser to remove my eye makeup.

Sometimes, I'll just use a scrub. My favorite scrub is Clearskin Professional Deep Pore Cleansing Scrub.  It has a nice little tingle and leaves my skin feeling clean.  It also does a great job of removing any dull, flaky skin. It also does a decent job of removing my eye makeup.  It has salicylic acid in it, so it helps treat my acne.

Another scrub that I use, probably once or twice a week is the Clearskin® Pore Penetrating Invigorating Scrub.  It has an intense tingle that I really like.  It doesn't have salicylic acid like the Clearskin Scrub, but I personally feel that it works just as well as the Clearskin Pro. One thing that I do love about it? A little goes a LONG way, which means you get a lot of bang for your buck. Always a plus!

So how do I use all of these products together? When I'm in the shower, I'll use the cleanser, wash my hair, and then after my conditioner is in (which I leave for a few minutes), I'll follow up with one of the scrubs.  I let the scrub stay on my face, much like you would with a mask, until I'm ready to rinse my hair.

I get pretty lazy at night--or at least too tired to wash my face with soap and water.  I used to use Target Up and Up Cleansing Clothes--but now Avon has the Elements Refreshing Cleansing Wipes
To be completely honest, I feel like there's a residue on my face when I'm finished; however, it removes my makeup, so it gets a thumbs up.  I haven't broken out in the morning after using them, so I know its getting my skin clean.

That's my cleansing routine. PHEW! I'm tired just writing it all out!

2) Treating
On to treating.
I'm in my early 30s. And I still struggle with acne. BOOO! Prior to becoming an Avon rep, I used Neutrogena for my acne. It's something Neutrogena is known for and their products worked pretty well for me.  I can only use products with salicylic acid.  I'm VERY allergic to benzoyl peroxide, so it limits what I can use.
Once I started with Avon, I started taking full advantage of my discount. I've been using Clearskin Professional Invisible Blemish Treatment for over a year now.  It is by far the BEST acne product that I've ever used.
I ran out and forgot to reorder it, so I went back to the Neutrogena for a week.  It didn't help! My chin broke out like I was a teenager again! NOOO! (of course, the tube that I had was old, so that could have something to do with the effectiveness) Within two days of using my Clearskin Pro Treatment, my face was clear! I can't recommend this product enough! It clears my skin up quickly and when I can tell that I have a spot that is going to erupt, if I get the treatment on fast enough, I'm able to stop it before it starts.
After I cleanse, I use my Clearskin Pro Treatment on my chin, t-zone and wherever else I may have a spot that looks like it might be a problem.  THEN I break out the big guns.

One of my biggest fears has been aging badly.  I use ANEW GENICS Treatment Concentrate to help put those fears to rest. It makes my skin tone look more even and brighter. I don't have any noticeable wrinkles, but I'd like to keep it that way. I truly believe the Genics is doing that.

I have recently started using ANEW CLINICAL Advanced Retexturizing Peel.  If I use this, this goes on right after I cleanse, then the blemish treatment, then the Genics.  I do feel like my skin is brighter and clearer after using it.  It's just a matter of remembering to use it!

3) Moisturizing
OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS! I use the best thing ever! ANEW CLINICAL SKINVINCIBLE Deep Recovery Cream with smart repair complex.  I'm not exaggerating, it's fantastic! The morning after I used it the first time, I looked in the mirror and said, "WOW! I look GOOD!"  It was amazing. My skin was clearer and brighter and I looked younger, which is always a plus!
The great thing about Skinvincible Deep Recovery Cream? It's not JUST a moisturizer. It's a treatment too! It's also hypoallergenic AND is formulated to correct damage from the environment!

The cream is for the night. So what do I use during the day? ANEW CLINICAL SKINVINCIBLE Multi-Shield Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 50.

Um, did you read that? It has 50 SPF, 50! That's the highest I've ever seen in a moisturizer. And the plus? It's not a heavy lotion. It goes on lightly and you don't notice it under your makeup, which is super important.

4) Eyes
I have a problem with my concealer settling into the fine lines under my eyes.  They're not super noticeable to others--but of course when I look in the mirror, they're all I see.
I've found the best way to battle the "creepiness" is by making sure that I exfoliate with a scrub on a regular basis and by using ANEW CLINICAL Pro Line Eraser Eye Treatment.  I've found that the Pro Line Eraser helps to plump up my under eye area and makes everything smoother.  It's very light weight, so if you're used to something more moisturizing, fear not! I have the solution!

Before I started using the Pro Line Eraser, I was religiously using ANEW GENICS Eye Treatment. I love the thickness of it and the moisture it gives me.  I did stop using it and was just using the Pro Line, but I found that the dark circles under my eyes were getting out of control.
So now I put the Pro Line on, wait a few minutes and then put the Genics over it.  The results? Fantastic!

So there you have it, my skin care routine in a nutshell!

Feel free to ask me any questions.
